As a board member and eLearning team lead at Mission Addiction, I am deeply committed to creating learning experiences that support recovery and personal growth. I work closely with a dedicated team to design interactive programs that blend scripture, reflection, and practical skills, giving participants tools they can use every day to move forward in their journey.
Designing eLearning for Mission Addiction has been one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever worked on. As the eLearning team lead and a proud board member, I’m helping transform a 30-week in-person recovery program into an accessible, interactive online experience that blends faith, emotional wellness, and practical life skills.
I lead our weekly content-development workflow with our founder and curriculum team. Together, we revise learning objectives, restructure lessons, and strengthen graphics, scripts, and activities to fully align with adult learning principles. We co-develop each module using Articulate Rise and Storyline, I edit all video content in Camtasia, and we deliver and track the program through LifterLMS.
Each lesson includes a mix of videos, reflection prompts, hands-on activities, and scripture-based tools—all designed to meet learners right where they are. Tracking completion data, engagement trends, and user feedback has already helped us refine pacing, clarity, and accessibility as we scale the program.
This work is still growing, but it’s already expanding Mission Addiction’s reach and giving participants more flexible, judgment-free ways to engage with healing and hope. It’s a project that fills my cup, and I’m incredibly honored to help create something that can truly change lives.
I transformed the original Mission Addiction 47-minute info session into a polished 13-minute version. I fully owned this project and was responsible for editing all video content in Camtasia, adding graphics and stock footage, and managing the final product in our LMS. This update made the session far more engaging and accessible, helping participants, volunteers, and partners quickly understand the heart of the organization.
Beyond Mission Addiction, I regularly facilitate info sessions for Class Consulting—about two per month since December 2024—and for the American Red Cross Kentucky Region, with monthly sessions. Across all three organizations, I’ve supported hundreds of volunteers and clients through 40+ info sessions, including cutting Mission Addiction’s session time by 70% while keeping the content engaging and meaningful.
